2009 VBS at First Baptist Church of Provo

Vacation Bible School kick off Sunday July 19th and ended Thursday July 23rd. We have kids and adults of all ages. Amazing how God work through his people.

A BIG thank you to Leigha for all of her effort. Because of her we have no worry and enjoy this event even more. And everyone that contribute their time or money. All of you are wonderful.

And of course the Texas Team. Without them none of this would be possible.

Rainbow Canyon Association Annual Picnic 2009

Our Rainbow Canyon Baptist Association Annual Picnic is this Sunday August 2nd 4pm @ Gunnison City Park. You’ll finally see our new Disaster Relief Trailer and with equipments ready, the very first time for most of you.

What to bring?

• Each family bring a dish to shared and their drinks.
• Each church to bring paper plates, napkins, cups and plastic ware for their members.
• And most important, bring yourself and family and of course as always invite someone from your church.

It’s a 2hrs drive from our church so it will give us a good 4hrs total to fellowship with someone in the church if we carpool. It’ll be fun.

Boomerang Express is VBS 2009 Theme

The Boomerang Express Vacation Bible School for all ages from babies, toddlers, children, teens, students, and adults will be held at the church from Sunday July 19 to Thursday July 23 at 6:30-8:30 p.m.

A missions group from Sunnyvale Baptist Church in Texas will lead the Vacation Bible School. Special music and treats will be provided.

“G’day Mate”: VBS attendees will take a thrilling ride across the land down under with LifeWay’s Boomerang Express! As kids wind their way across Australia, they’ll discover the vastness of God’s love, and they’ll learn that no matter where they go or what they do in life-it all comes back to Jesus. The adults will study I John. Vacation Bible School is free.
